Why one-piece MDF Shaker doors
A traditional Shaker door is five pieces of wood glued together. Wood moves with the seasons, so on a painted door those joints eventually show as hairline cracks. Our Shaker doors are cut from a single sheet of MDF on our CNC, so there are no joints at all: the frame and panel are one piece.
MDF is also dead flat and has no grain, so paint goes on smooth. Order them primed and you only need to add your color.
Doors and drawer fronts that match
Every Shaker style comes as a door and a drawer front. Short drawer fronts (under 7") automatically get narrower rails so they stay in proportion with the doors above.

Questions
What are one-piece MDF doors?
Each door is CNC-machined from a single sheet of MDF, with no joints between rails, stiles and panel. That means no seams that crack or show through paint, a dead-flat surface, and crisp profiles every time.
Can I order any size?
Yes. Every door is cut to the exact width and height you enter, to the 1/16". Sizes from 4" up to 48" wide and 96" tall can be ordered online. Contact us for anything larger.
Are they ready to paint?
Choose Raw (straight off the CNC), Sanded (ready for primer) or Primed (sanded and primed, ready for your topcoat).
Door or drawer front: which do I pick?
A door swings open on hinges. A drawer front screws onto the front of a drawer box and has no hinges. Pick the Type on each line of your order.
