FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What are one-piece MDF doors?
Each door is CNC-machined from a single sheet of MDF, with no joints between rails, stiles and panel. That means no seams that crack or show through paint, a dead-flat surface, and crisp profiles every time.
Can I order any size?
Yes. Every door is cut to the exact width and height you enter, to the 1/16". Sizes from 4" up to 48" wide and 96" tall can be ordered online. Contact us for anything larger.
Are they ready to paint?
Choose Raw (straight off the CNC), Sanded (ready for primer) or Primed (sanded and primed, ready for your topcoat).
Do you bore for hinges?
Yes. Choose a single 35mm cup hole, a cup plus pilot holes, or no boring. Hinge count and positions are set automatically by door height, and you pick which side the hinges go on.
How long does an order take?
Doors are made to order. We'll confirm your lead time by email after you order.
Pickup and shipping
Pickup is free at our shop: 6817 W Highway 22, Crestwood, KY 40014. We'll email you when your doors are ready.
Shipping is quoted after you order. Doors are bulky, so we price freight for your exact order and address and email you a quote within 1 business day. Nothing is cut until you approve and pay the shipping. We ship within the United States.
Door or drawer front: which do I pick?
A door swings open on hinges. A drawer front screws onto the front of a drawer box and has no hinges. Pick the Type on each line of your order.
Which hinge side do I pick?
Stand in front of the cabinet and look at the door. If the hinges are on the left edge, pick Left (the door opens from the right). Two doors on one cabinet are usually one Left and one Right.
Can I upload my list from Excel?
Yes. On the order page, tap Upload a spreadsheet and choose your Excel (.xlsx) or .csv file. It needs a Width and a Height column; Qty, Style, Type, Hinge, Finish and Label are optional. You'll see every line before it's added. You can also download our Excel template there.
What if I measure wrong?
We cut exactly the sizes you enter, so they can't be returned for a wrong measurement. Use the How to measure guide and the Size calculator in the order page, and check the list before you add to cart. Unsure? Contact us before ordering and we'll help.

How to measure
Replacing existing doors
Measure the door itself, not the opening. Measure width across the widest point and height top to bottom, and round to the nearest 1/16". Measure every door, since "matching" cabinets often differ by 1/8".
New frameless (Euro) cabinets
For full overlay, take the box width and subtract 1/8" total for reveals. For pairs, split that width in two and subtract another 1/16" from each door for the center gap.
New face-frame cabinets
Measure the opening and add twice your overlay. A 1/2" overlay on a 14" x 28" opening is a 15" x 29" door.
Drawer fronts
Same rule as doors. Choose Drawer front or Drawer (reduced rail) in the order grid. Reduced rail keeps narrow fronts looking balanced.
Entering sizes
Width first, then height. Fractions are fine: type 14 5/8, 14-5/8 or 14.625.
